classes and workshops
This is a summary of some of our favourite witchy women workshops in Toronto, Canada.
ecstatic dance Toronto
This beautiful event happens twice a week (every Monday and Thursday from 7:30-9:30 pm) at Dovercourt House, just north of Bloor. It is a drug and alcohol free space; a mixture of meditation and free movement with alternating DJs. Starts quiet and meditative, and builds to a full, sweaty dance party.
breathwork experience with serah ruth goldberg
Engage with your breath, and see the power of over-oxygenation of your cells. Make room for new, fresh energy and cleanse your body of what it doesn't need. A meditative, transformative experience, facilitated by one of the best women on earth. Held at Kula Yoga Studio in the Annex, they are usually once a month. Information on the Kula Website.
iNTRODUCTION TO TAROT WORKSHOP
These are held often at The Rock Store. They are 2 hour workshops where you cover the basics of the Major Arcana, the suits and numerology. Bring your own deck and have some fun learning in a judgment-free, fun space with an expert guide.
Next workshop is July 22
Created and facilitated by Serah Ruth Goldberg and Donna Wilding, Seers Way is a mystery school in three modules: The Initiation, The Transformation, The Walk Home. Although they won't tell you exactly what happens (trust me, I've tried!), the website describes it as "a transformational path to redefine your reality so you can move through the world with all your inherent superpowers." The next first module is November 2-5, held in Caldeon, ON. There's a lot of great information on their site. Bitchesbewitches supports!

Energy Leaks and Creative Peaks (Hosted By Shecosystem and Mara Munroe)
Join Mara Munroe, a Toronto-based Kripalu yoga teacher/student of medical anthropology/shamanic apprentice/writer for a specially crafted 2-hour yoga practice exploring the concept of energy leaks and elemental balance that appear in both yogic and shamanic traditions. Through discussion, self-reflection, movement, and guided meditation we will explore how we use, lose or gain energy physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This can apear as stress, fatigue, burnout, unproductive cycles, apathy, feeling lost, emotional flooding or lack of inspiration.
Guided by the wheel of balanced choreography of energy, we will begin to see where we might be out of balance and how we can shift our patterns to redirect our energy to find emotional stability, physical strength, mental clarity and spiritual determination in our lives.
